Great news for those of you living in the UK. Virgin Mobile, who recently announced “more high-end handsets”, just launched a new offer: the Android LG GW620 (full name: LG In Touch Max GW620) is free on the £22 p/m, 18-month contract.

As for the smartphone we’re talk about… is it any good? That’s what we’ll try to find out right away.

The brand new LG GW620 is an Android-powered Smartphone with lots of features and functions such as: a 5-line QWERTY keyboard, a 3″ touch screen and a powerful battery (1500bAg). Not to mention the 5 megapixel camera on the back cover of the smartphone.

And as John Barton, Sales and Marketing Director for LG – Mobile, comments: “This is a symbolic launch for us. It signals the end of expensive and exclusive applications and the start of applications for everyone.”

I’m starting to wonder what new smartphones or pda devices LG is preparing.
