HTC is a powerful company, there’s no doubt. Bust I just started today to seek on the web for HTC News, and first wondered “This company sure has a great, complex homepage”. It wasn’t hard to find it, just type “HTC” on Google, and there you got it. But what really bothered me was the fact, that I didn’t see the complex, well designed and updated page I was expecting. You actually can find on their page the most information you need: the products, where you can buy their devices, support and so on. But a “News” area was missing, down the page there’s only a small cell, where you can find some news, or better said.. some old news. In my case, to find the HTC’s latest activity I couldn’t get this information from their web page and had to surf further more on Google. Another thing that bugged me, look in the picture I attached below, you’ll notice, the last piece of news comes from November, no activity at all during December and January.

Comparing to HTC.COM it looks like the company invested a lot extra time in building a complex, flash-page specially for their HTC Touch Series www.htctouch.com. Who knows, probably they’re hopping to break the sales with the HTC Touch, HTC Touch Dual and HTC Touch Cruise.

HTC definitely need’s a more complex news page/widget than this one..
