Allthough Vodafone, Orange, O2 and all the other network operators haven’t yet announced the availability of Sony  Ericsson Xperia X1, the device appears with the status “In Stock” on some major online tech shops as for example this one.

If you considered the HTC Diamond pretty much a toy and the HTC Touch Pro a bit difficult to navigate, I am absolutely sure you will enjoy the Sony Ericsson Xperia X1 which has a larger display and a more comfortable Qwerty keyboard.
