IDG News Service announced on the 4th November that SE X1 sales are slowed because the a lack of materials : “We don’t want to go into detail regarding which materials are causing the problems” (said Gustaf Brusewitz, SE nordic public-relations manager ). The customers from Sweden, Germany and U.K. ( the three countries in which Sony Ericsson XPeria X1 was initially launched)  have to wait a bit longer in order to buy the phone. In Sweden they have to wait a few days while in the U.K. and in Germany they might even have to wait for weeks. Gustaf Brusewitz also mentioned that the manufacturers are working hard to keep a close connection with HTC ( manufacturing partener ) and the people working to this project were increased to help reduce the delays. There will be no delays in other countries as for example France, Switzerland, Norway, Italy, Austria, Hong Kong and Singapore.

The Xperia X1 might also be available from November in the United States where it attracted the people’s attention with his top technical specifications, with the stylish design and the A-GPS receiver (Assisted Global Positioning System). Another interesting thing about this phone is the Xperia Panels UI, a interface that can help the user to customize up to nine screens with the desired content or software aplications.

What a great phone Sony Ericsson Xperia X1 seemes to be, too bad it isn’t that easy to get one this month. Hopefully the manufaturer will solve the lack of material problem and in this way slow up the phones production.
