A new low-end windows mobile phone is available from TIM Italy. We’re talking about the new Samsung C6620, which is a tri band smartphone ( GSM 900 / 1800 / 1900 ; HSDPA 2100 ) powered by Windows Mobile 6.1, unfortunately without touch screen. Instead it has a mini-QWERTY keyboard (with 45 keys) which can also be used with just one hand. The 2 MP CMOS integrated camera is expected to be a low performing camera since we can’t find autofocus camera in any of front-facing QWERTY phones manufactured by Samsung. It has a panoramic 2,4″ QVGA screen with 320 x 240 pixels and 65.536 colors. Comes with a nifty Samsung cell phone charger as well.
The 20 MB available memory can be extended trough the microSD memory card slot. Although it has bluetooth 2.0 (with A2DP) but no wifi, the phone can browse the internet at fast speeds thanks to HSDPA (up to 3.6 Mbps) . Not to mention videotelephony which is also available on Samsung C6620. It has a wieght of 108.8g and the battery is supposed to last for 7 hours (talk time) or 300 hours ( stand by). The colors C6620 is available in are wine red, apple green, navy blue and if you like this 113.3 x 63 x 11.9 mm phone you can buy one from TIM for just 199 EURO from Tim.it.
