The second iPhone generation was officially launched today and guess what: on the 11th July Apple is planing to sell it’s cheapest version for 199 bucks.
What’s new about the iPhone 3G?
-no more adapters needed for GPS connection, it will have a built-in antena;
-3G fast wireless technology;
-a desktop-class web browser;
-a very accesible application store, download latest software for your phone without searching for them hours;
-Microsoft Exchange ActiveSync (Apple & Microsoft?!);
-easier mail browsing;
-a nice pocket calculator;
This time Apple really chose a good slogan for iPhone 3G:
,,Twice as fast, half the price.”
As for the design, Apple did a really good job.
