An aluminum case it something, which I consider that every phone needs, and as specially every PDA, considering that a PDA is much more fragile than an ordinary phone. A few days ago, as I was reading a review for HTC P3300, a light went on in my mind and since then I started wondering: Why are most PDA, Smartphone and generally most phone housings made out of plastic? I asked myself the same think about two years ago, when I bought my Spv C600.
That’s why I consider that a 400 Mhz processor powering the HTC Touch Cruise motherboard needs a lot more protection than a thin plastic housing. Unfortunately, you will find nowhere metal housings to match instead of the plastic ones, still I found something interesting here for your HTC Touch Cruise, and that is an Aluminum Metal Case, like the ones below:
As you can see in the picture, the aluminum cases I found on Ebay fit perfectly on the HTC Touch Cruise, won’t increase the phones thickness very much and it covers the most vulnerable corners of the PDA and you can chose between black and white, the color which you like the most. The Display, keyboard, both cameras, the speaker, microphone and the mini-usb jack remain uncovered, that means that all of them will remain completely functionally and accessible, no matter what, the aluminum case doesn’t need to be taken off.
Sadly I didn’t manage to found it anywhere else except on Ebay, still the seller is willing to ship this item worldwide at the price of $17.99 (shipping taxes will be added to the price).
