Acer, the worlds third-largest PC vendor plans to launch in the next 8-10 months their first smartphone. In spite of the lack of information about the company’s plans we found out here few details about their future smartphone: We can tell that it will be a Windows Mobile based device which will enter the market under one of the brands owned by Acer and will be most probably sold trough mobile phone network operators.
Gianfranco Lanci, the president of Acer also declared that smartphones will represent 10 percent of Acer’s revenue in the next few years, which means that Acer is planing to focus more one the development of smartphones.
A great question rises up in front of us: how will Acer’s first Smartphone look like? What features will it include? Will it be a success or a total failure? Can’t wait to here the first announcement and write the first review about Acer’s first Smartphone.
