oogle has opened a mobile version of it’s Docs&Spreadsheets service to the public today. The new service is available at http://docs.google.com/m and can be accessed via mobile browsers.

The service so far provides access to the Google Docs and Google Spreadsheets via mobile. And only document viewing (not editing) capability is available. Access to Google Presentation application will probably be enabled later.

Of the available apps, text document viewing works the best, with documents appearing just like they would look on your computer screen:

The spreadsheet viewer currently provides only HTML view of the spreadsheets, and only a single column at a time.
